O.J. Simpson’s new book

January 15, 2007

O.J. Simpson is now shopping around an idea for a new book, in the wake of his cancelled book “If I Did It”. This new book appears to be about his life with Nicole Brown Simpson.

He seems to be very intent about capitalizing on  the death of his wife in some way. His reasoning is that he’s trying to provide for his children, which would be admirable, without foreknowledge that he killed their mother.

I also think that this book is an attempt to drag Nicole’s name through the dirt and expose some negative things about her life. Wouldn’t a good father rather have his children remember their mother for the positive things she brought to their lives ? Or is he trying to make them feel better about their father ?

Woman dies for lack of Wii

January 15, 2007

It seems that a woman has died after participating in a bizarre drinking game being held by a local radio station, the prize being a Nintendo Wii. The cause of death was cited as “water intoxication”.

Is this Darwinism at work ?

I gotta think that the radio station will be found liable in some way. I have been looking around online, and I can’t even find out if she won the Wii or not. Not that it’d be any less tradgic if her children actually got a Wii.

Can Madonna or Angelina save these kids ?

January 15, 2007

Apparently, Britney Spears is out partying hard again. It’s reported that she spent the saturday night with her new boyfriend in the Hugh Hefner suite of a Las Vegas Hotel, after a hard night of dancing, drinking, smoking etc at a gay nightclub. It’s obvious that Britney’s main concern is not her children.

Why doesn’t a Madonna or Angelina step in here and take custody of Britney’s kids ? It’s obvious that these kids have no more of a true parent than the children Madonna or Angelina adopted. Either of these two women would probably also be the best prepared to teach a child about what is going on with their momma as they both have lived it, and consequently are over it.

Found Missouri Boys’ Captor – Worked in a funeral home.

January 15, 2007

Obviously, working in a funeral home doesn’t mean you are crazy, but I think the odds might be better. Whether the craziness would come from working there or the craziness leads you to such work, I don’t really know.
I just get a feeling that there is alot more to this story of two teens abducted by this man, and as a parent it really brings up a range of emotions. Joy for these kids and their parents as this kind of thing usually ends with a funeral.  Sympathy for the kids an their parents for such a thing ever happening to them. Anger towards this man for being capable of such things.

What’s even worse is that a man like this will sometimes end up back in society at some point, and potentially do something even worse. Maybe I have just watched too many forensic files, but it seems like the guys that don’t kill the first time, sometimes kill the next time in attempt to cover tracks.

Anyone capable of this type of crime should get life in my opinion as it’s clearly a mental issue that isn’t something you cure. I understand that they might have been abused themselves as a child and some might not want to give up on them…. But you really have to protect society from them.
