Barry Gibb’s Upper Lip – Moustache and HDTV have made him a freak.

I was able to find a decent picture of Barry on the internet, and there is definitely something strange going on. But, then again, maybe it’s just that his moustache isn’t as prominent as it used to be. Maybe that’s what he’s been hiding all these years with that moustache. It’s a good thing too, because it’s very distracting, especially in High Definition. Maybe that’s part of the problem too, you just never really noticed it too much in standard definition TV. Now, he’s pretty much a freak. He should probably make a statement letting us know that he’s ok, and it’s not a deteriorating condition that might soon take his lower lip.

Now I am sure that I am not the only one that wants to know.  While checking out the statistics page for my blog, I discovered that it’s quite a popular search since yesterday’s American Idol show. Below is a list of the search engine terms used to get to my blog today.

If anybody knows, please clue me in. Cause it’s just not normal. I had a great laugh when I read “What is wrong with Barry Gibbs upper lip”, it made me feel a little less obsessed.

American Idol – Lakisha leaves

It took Barry Gibb, his non-existent upper lip, and his catalog of falsetto songs to push Lakisha out the door. Ever since noticing that Barry Gibb has no upper lip, I’ve been taking note of other people’s upper lips. Oddly enough, Blake has almost no upper lip as well.

I feel bad for Lakisha, because she deserves to be in the final 3 more than Blake. He’s a beat boxer for heavens sake. How many successful beat boxers do you know ? Can you name one ? I think there’s a good reason why we don’t know any. Because they are only good in very small doses.

Paris – “I’m not above the law.”

Isn’t the fact that she made this statement to TMZ.com, which is a celebrity gossip site, pretty indicative of how oblivious she is to why the judge has sentenced her to jail time. What is the judge supposed to do ? Fine her $5,000 ? She probably wipes her ass with 5 grand every day.

She is probably thinking that others have done the same thing and not had to do jail time. But the fact that a fine basically means nothing to her, the judge needs to sentence her in a way that it affects her and makes her change her ways. That’s why the 45 day sentence is so hard for Paris to deal with, cause it’s the only real punishment the judge can give her. Even suspending her license for life is not really a huge deal, as she can have someone drive or even fly her anywhere.
